The determining factors in how long your vehicle will be transported are a few things including distance, number of stops, and weather. Our goal is to every vehicle delivered within 10 days going from coast to coast, 5 days for coastal moves, and state moves are at the customer's discretion. Uncontrollable factors such as unfavorable weather conditions, traffic condition, and mechanical breakdown may cause delays. Driver must also follow Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and restrictions on daily/weekly driving time allowed. Drivers also conduct routine maintenance between trips. You can contact our team for Real-Time updates on your transport.
We understand that not everyone can always be available to receive or release their vehicle. We have mitigated most of the trouble by partnering with high end facilities across the US to allow customers to drop off or pick up their vehicle at their convenience. We also offer complimentary rides to or from the Sea-Tac Airport for our customers located within Washington State.
Pricing on transport is determined by a few factors including origin, destination, vehicle dimensions and the service chosen. Other factors like extra parts and tight deadlines may also play a factor in pricing. Our team is always available to provide a personalized quote over the phone or email.
Customers are updated once the vehicle is en route. Live updates provided over the phone via our office.
By law, transporters are not permitted to haul personal item in a vehicle. Most companies will not insure personal items. Semi-trucks have limits on weight by our governing body to protect the roads and the truck from unnecessary damage. Trucks are weighed in every state to ensure compliance. Fines for being overweight can get steep, so its best practices to transport your vehicle empty. items such are spare tires, small tool boxes, and small items are permitted with prior notice. Vehicle must not contain any illegal substances, firearm's, or hazardous materials.
Yes. All carriers are required by law to have insurance and insured for up to the vehicle current market value. A lot of carriers typically get coverage around $150,000 for open transport and $250,000 for enclosed so we recommend asking your carrier for their coverage to make sure your vehicle is properly insured. We personally recommend at least $500,000-$750,000 at the minimum in cargo insurance.
Your vehicle will only be driven on and off the truck. Drivers may have to unload and reload your vehicle during transport based on the position in the trailer. Drivers tend to load vehicles based on the destination to avoid unnecessary movement of the vehicle. Drivers notate and take a photo on the odometer on pickup and delivery. We recommend that our customers also take photos on pick up and delivery to ensure quality of service.
We accept cash or certified funds on pick up and/or delivery including cashiers check, business check, and bank draft. We also accept all major credit cards with support for Apple Pay and Google Pay coming soon. Personal checks are not permitted.
Open carriers are the most common and cost effective way of getting your vehicle transported.
A bill of lading is a document issued by a carrier to acknowledge receipt of cargo for shipment. Although the term historically related only to carriage by sea, a bill of lading may today be used for any type of carriage of goods. The driver will conduct a bill of lading on both pickup and delivery.
An open trailer is uncovered and is more frequently used. These are normally cheaper than enclosed trailers. Be aware that with an open trailer, your vehicle will be exposed to the elements of nature while being transported. An enclosed trailer has a covered freight area and is most commonly used when transporting an expensive luxury or classic vehicle that you wish to protect.
Choosing to ship your vehicle via enclosed trailer protects it from the elements of the road, and offers a higher level of security, our drivers have years of experience in handling high-end vehicles.
We offer 6-7 car hardside lift-gate trailers that can fit three cars on the upper deck and three on the bottom. One car, as well as two-car haulers, are available for hotshot and expedited time-sensitive loads.

Our client loves us because of our quality work
If there were a 5+ rating I would use it! Roman and his team have been moving our cars between Washington and California every season for the past 5+ years. In the past we had used other services and had problems. We have never had an issue with GAS.
We use GAS to transport all of our vehicles and inventory. They are the best around, give fair pricing and shipping is fast! Very easy to work with and they care for your vehicles. I highly recommend GAS for any vehicle transport needs
Best experience ever. I’ve shipped 8 cars from Seattle to Southern California and Gas is by far the most professional and the quickest I’ve ever used. Their pricing is excellent and their customer service is even better
You guys rock! Thank you so much for making this process seamless
First time shipping a car out-of-state; obviously nervous and apprehensive. Roman thoroughly explained the process and keep me posted on actual pick up date & time. Car arrived in Denver in the exact same condition it left Bellingham. Will certainly used GAS Motorsport again. DF
Very flexible, delivered my vehicle on a revised date and within minutes of ETA. Communications were excellent from start to finish and made the transition seem less. Would use their service again!
Washington to California
I moved 2 vehicles with them. Fast service at a fair price. I liked that my cars were stored inside their secure shop until pick up. Once on the truck they sent me photos and contact info for the driver. Highly recommended!
